What Would I Be?

Throughout my life I have been asked a certain question over and over again and I have struggled to find an answer for it. Everyone else that I talk to quickly answers the question and they are always very confident in their answer. Well, I’m happy to say that the other day I was sittin garound thinking and all fo the sudden the answer to the question came to me.
If I could be any animal in the world, what would I be? When you hear that question, what do you think? You probably give a typical answer like a ion because you would be the king of the jungle or a cheetah because it is so fast. For example, Mandy wants to be a hawk so that she can have great eye sight and be able to swoop down and catch things.
I used to think that I wanted to be something strong, quick, and powerful but I was never really satisfied with being any of those animals. So as I mentioned before, one day I was sitting around and all of the sudden it came. If I could be any animal in the worlk I would be a cow. Yes, you read it right. I would be a cow.
What would possibly be better? Think about it. Most of the other animals have to get up every morning and go out and kill their breakfast. How would you feel if you had to go hunting or fishing every morning before you had anything to eat? Wouldn’t you be ticked if you were a bear and you had to go out and stand in the cold stream in the morning and try to catch a fish with your mouth. What if you were a mama bear and had to catch fish for your kids as well? I can’t even catch a fish with bait on a pole let alone my mouth. Now think about the life of a cow. The cow wakes up in the morning from it’s nice bed of grass and looks down to find breakfast sitting right there.
For all of you people who want to be an eagle or some other bird. I just read in the National Geographic that an eagle’s nest is over 10 feet wide. I’m sorry to tell you that the eagle doesn’t hire a subcontractor to build its nest. So while you eagles are out hauling your home stick by stick I’ll be hanging out with my other cow friends.
Now for Mandy’s side of the story, she thinks that I want to be a cow so that I can lick my nose with my tongue and stand around in my own poo. Not true.
So in conclusion, I still don’t think it would be that great to be any animal but if I had to be an animal I’d rather spend my time in the pasture than out fishing or hunting.
