So I went to K-Mart and found where they make keys. I looked for a employee for about 5 min and found one to page another employee to help me make a key. They paged an employee and I went to the Sporting Goods area to wait. I was waiting there with another customer and I became annoyed that no one came to help after 15 min. I started getting impatient and I almost made my own key myself since I have used that same machine before at Wal-Mart when I worked there 2 1/2 years ago.
That other customer and I started talking and we both could not believe that we were not getting any help. I told the guy I would go find someone. I found that employee I found previously and she said she would come and help. When I talked to the employee she said "Oh, there is no one covering sporting goods right now". I stood there behind her for 10 minutes and then I left to tell the other customer that someone was possibly on the way to help. The employee I found for the second time did not come because she was helping another customer, and now she had a queue of people waiting in line for her at that time.
I walked back to sporting goods and the other customer said he had an idea. While I was gone he was looking around and found the store managers phone number in the store. He called the manager and said something about how he was a customer not receiving service and that he would like the manager to come give us some help. So a second later we hear the manager page for customer service and the guy who called said I will give him 5 min. 5 minutes later both of us dropped what we were going to purchase and talked about where he could get a fishing license and where I could get a key.
No one ever came and helped us.
We both agreed that Wal-Mart needed to build a store out on this side of town in the Provo East Bay area.
