My brother Jeff always has a very positive outlook on life. Once again I called him up to tell him my frustrations and sorrows. I was telling him about how my engine warning lights came on and how that only my engine light and braking system light was on. I told him that my car was pretty much a piece of junk and needs lots of repairs since the wreck I had with it months ago.

After telling him of the problems I was having with my car, he brought out a very good point. My windshield wipers still work and there is nothing wrong with them. I quickly recognized my mistake in thinking all was lost.

Anyways, today I took my car into get the dang thing repaired. I told them that I need a tune-up and I was also having some problems with some warning lights in my car. They told me it would take an hour to fix. So after dropping off my car at 9am I finally finished getting my car fixed at about 1:30pm. That was just a little over an hours worth of work.

There were several things that they had to work on to get the car repaired. There were some additional problems with the car that were not fixed from the accident and there were also other problems caused by me from stupid things I have accidentally done in my car. So several hours later and $350 later, I got in my car to see that the engine light and braking system lights were still on.

At this point I was not a very happy person. I went in to talk to them and they told me then what it would take to get that problem resolved. They cleared the codes in my car to reset the failure switches to see if they come back on. If they come back on, then I will know that I have another serious problem.

After taking my car in for the tune-up, I then took it over to the people who fixed my car and I showed them the problem I am having with my light. So after they looked at it, they told me that I needed to go to an electrical specialist to fix my light so that it worked.

So now I have a car I can drive once again. I think I am going to change my car’s name from scratch to trash. Well again what am I thinking? At least my windshield wipers still work.
