Girl Problems
What is my problem when it comes to people I don’t like liking me. There is a girl in my ward that I have known for about a year now and she always comes up and talks to me. I seriously think she has a problem because she is not all there. Anyways she always comes up and talks to me. I have no problem talking to her to be nice but it is becoming more and more of an ordeal.
I would hope that she gets the clue that I am not interested in her. Here are some of my clues I have given her.
1. I never have approached her to talk to her
2. I just nod my head when she is talking and I don’t say anything relevant.
3. I usually find stupid excuses for why I have to go.
4. I attempt to do things that she does not like
I just came to the realization today that some of the things I have been doing have seemed to her like I am flirting with her in some odd strange way. For example the other day I was going to get in my car to go to FHE and she wanted to ride with me. I said ok and so about four of us headed up to the bishops house.
On our way up my roommate Matt swore and she made a big deal about his filthy mouth. I thought that she was really bothered by it so I joined in and played the game of saying bad words out of the Bible like the word ass. I also joked about the word dam and she was thinking that all of us were horrible for saying such things. So we joked around on our way up and back.
The next day this girl came up to me and told me she had such a good time. I about gagged when I realized that she was not offended but thought I was funny and she now likes me that much more.
The funny thing about the situation is that as of a week ago I did not know what her name was. I only learned her name because I had to explain to my roommates who I was talking about.
So the girl in the ward that I like the least likes me a whole lot. Matt can’t stand the girl and he was real rude with her when he saw her the next time and I thought that would help me out, but it didn’t. She actually came over to my house about an hour ago and our door was open in my house and she saw me walking inside and called out my name. And she talked and talked to me and I could not find a way to get away from her.
Gratefully my roommate Jason came to the door and said, “Steve, I need you to come look at something on my computer”. This girl left and I went inside and I kneeled on the floor and thanked Jason for saving me.
You’ve got to love roommates that will help out a guy when he is in need.
